That you feel you could reach right in and pull your ancestors back to life

Chanting
Singing
Calling to the dead ones we love
Fire
Growing
Higher
Till it tears through the sky above
Autumn harvest all are merry
Long lost spirits imps and faeries
We beseech you on this Samhain
Help us through till budding begin
When misty veil is so thin
When clouds drawn and parted
Reveal fiery spirit intent on burning down the palace that you’ve built
When all are lulled into sleep
When spear pierces hot skin
And drives the mischievous god back in burial mound from which he has came
